How we price
We don't publish exact prices. Here's why — and what you can expect.
Every business has different processes, different tools, different complexity. Publishing a flat rate would either underprice complex work or overprice simple work — and both are dishonest. So we quote from the diagnostic, where we've actually measured the work.
The framework
Three phases. No surprises.
Diagnose
Free
If we don't build, you don't pay. You keep the process map, the time-study data, and the ROI analysis.
2 weeks
Build
Fixed-fee
Scoped from the diagnostic. Typical range is mid four figures to low five figures depending on complexity. No hourly billing, no scope creep.

Charcoal dashed = cumulative cost (build + management). Orange solid = cumulative value recovered. The crossover point is where the system has paid for itself.
The comparison
Milo vs. hiring vs. freelancers
When does hiring win? If you have 40+ hours per week of varied automation work that needs a dedicated person with institutional knowledge. We'll tell you if that's your situation.
| Factor | The Milo System | In-house hire | Freelancer |
|---|---|---|---|
| Annual cost | Fraction of a hire | $80–120K all-in | $500–3K per project |
| Ongoing support | 24/7, month-to-month | If they stay | None |
| ROI validation | Before every build | Rarely | Never |
| Time to value | 2–4 weeks | 3–6 months ramp | 1–2 weeks |
| Breadth of expertise | Full team + partners | One person | One person |
| Risk if they leave | System documented + monitored | Everything in their head | Code nobody can read |
| Honest recommendation | We'll say no | Incentivized to stay | Incentivized to build |
The rule
Every system must clear a six-month payback. If it doesn't, we don't build it.
This is the filter that protects you. We've walked away from projects because the math didn't work. We'd rather lose the deal than build something that doesn't pay for itself.
How it works
- We measure hours saved, errors reduced, and revenue unlocked
- We calculate the hard-dollar ROI before quoting
- If payback exceeds 6 months, we recommend against building
- You keep the analysis either way
Next step
Want real numbers? Book the diagnostic.
We'll map your processes, time-study the work, calculate ROI, and give you a scoped quote based on what we actually find — not a template. The diagnostic is free.
