AI roadmap template

An AI roadmap for a service firm is a ranked list: the processes worth moving, in order of payback, with what each needs first and who owns it. It also names what you are leaving alone, and why. One page is enough. Each line should pay back before the next one starts.

Questions we get asked

How far ahead should a roadmap look?

Name the first 3 lines properly and hold the rest loosely. The order changes once the first one is running.

What goes on the “not yet” list?

Anything that wouldn’t pay back, isn’t reliable enough yet, or depends on something you haven’t fixed.

Who should own it?

Someone in leadership, because the order is a business decision.
